HOME ~casa~
They say home is where you find it--
but I'd like to say you don't actually find things like that. That's… delulu.
Truth is, home's really a feeling. Stay with me.
It’s in those moments with your person—or your people—soaking in the silence after a movie, a shared meal, or a beautiful piece of art. Where there’s nothing left to say, and the quiet feels like gold.
It’s in the circle that forms after completing a task you’re relieved to be done with.
It’s the feeling of belonging and comfort found with those who can seriously piss you off—yet somehow still make you laugh until your stomach hurts.
It’s the warmth, the freedom, the breath of relief you get when you step into a space that lets everything else fade away—even if just for a moment. It’s not about the pictures on the wall or the furniture’s color.
Home is how you feel—with your person, your inside team, or in a place where your memories still live.
It’s really a YOU thing.📌
And maybe that’s why you never quite feel “at home” when you're at a stranger's house and they say…
“Feel at home.”
