The people say...
"Standards"? Standards!
Tell me, what's our yardstick?
We've reduced gold to clay,
degraded in every way
and called it "societal standard."
They say no other generation comes close.
We raise our shoulders and walk with heads held high.
Whereas in real sense...
We're pumping our essence into a hose.
We bought the monthly X subscription—
Better information, ease, and access?
Or a platform to gossip and brew chaos?
What did you buy?
We bought the latest iPhone—
Durable software,
or just another tool of jealousy and envy?
What really, did you ask for?
What did you buy?
They say we're fast moving.
Indeed!
A generation moving too fast to stop.
Too fast to read.
Too fast to think.
We run back and forth,
oscillating between materialism and fame.
They also say—
you can't harvest mangoes in an apple orchard.
You can go round and around,
but it's one verdict:
Generation Z—
the people who chase shadows
and expect dividends in gold.
Individuals who fail to see principles hidden in plain sight.
Generation Z,
we chase shadows…
but it’s time to lock in.

This is an awesome post.
We don't even have any original thoughts these days. All from multiple sources and people who also don't think for themselves. We're looking for something but we don't know what it is. And when "it" doesn't come round, we're frustrated.
It's a vicious cycle.
God will help us.
Love you, Bunmiiiiii.
